ServiceConcept and detailed design for Development Application to City of Parramatta Council.

South Quarter is a proposed mixed-use development comprising residential, commercial and retail properties, as well as an underground carpark and public domain improvements separated over three sites.

AT&L was engaged to carry out an existing servicing study and to liaise with service authorities to determine service constraints and the location of existing services, and to review the existing stormwater drainage. We were also asked to prepare design drawings for the infrastructure, public domain works and future road-widening along Church Avenue.

We liaised with various authorities, such as Sydney Water, City of Parramatta Council, and Roads and Maritime Services, to secure approvals for the infrastructure works associated with the development.

The site is within a known flood-prone area so, in conjunction with the flooding consultant, we developed a solution that did not adversely affect the surrounding environment and the overall amenity of the precinct.

AT&L's Scope Included

  • Earthworks design, road and pavements design
  • Stormwater design, and utilities coordination
  • Construction supervision and superintendence works for new commercial sub division
