Old Cooma Road Upgrade Stage 2
The Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council, with funding from Roads and Maritime Services / Transport for NSW, engaged AT&L to design Stage 2 of Old Cooma Road Upgrade in two sections, totaling 4.5 km of road.
The project involved the duplication of a rural two-lane, two-way road to a four-lane divided carriageway road, with channelised intersections and extensive earthworks. It also involved major cross drainage culverts, longitudinal swales, utility relocations and full pavement re-construction. In addition, AT&L prepared a full suite of customised Roads and Maritime Services road specifications and tender schedules.
AT&L's Scope Included
- Roadworks detailed design documentation
- Property acquisition and adjustment design documentation
- Management and co-ordination with landscaping design
- Management and co-ordination of utilities relocation design.
