The Palmerston Gateway Shopping Centre is located on 11 hectares of land within the City of Palmerston in south-east Darwin and is one of the largest retail centres in the Northern Territory.

The site’s development has occurred in two stages.

Stage 1 saw the establishment of over 30,000 m2 of retail shopping, entertainment facilities and parking for over 1300 vehicles. These works were completed in September 2017.

Stage 2 comprised bulky goods stores, restaurants and dining facilities. Stage Two was completed in early 2018.

AT&L worked closely with the client to provide:

  • Bulk earthworks design
  • Flood modelling
  • Road and pavement design
  • Stormwater design
  • Utility service coordination.
  • We also undertook Civil construction supervision and
    Construction certification during all civil works.
