SERVICE/ Preliminary, development application and construction certificate design and documentation.

Luna Estate in Lewisham is a proposed mixed-use development comprising residential, commercial and retail uses, an underground carpark and public domain improvements.

AT&L was engaged to carry out an existing servicing study and liaise with service authorities to determine service constraints and the location of existing services. We were also tasked with reviewing existing stormwater drainage and preparing design drawings for the diversion of a major council stormwater asset around the proposed site.

We liaised with various authorities, such as Sydney Water, Marrickville Council, Network Rail and Roads and Maritime Services, for approval of the infrastructure works associated with the development. The site is within a known flood-prone area so consultation with a flood modelling consultant was required to ensure the development did not adversely affect the surrounding environment from a flooding perspective.

AT&L’s scope included:

  • Road and pavement design
  • Stormwater design to Council and Sydney Water standards
  • Utilities coordination and flood modelling
  • Authority approval process.
